Pregunta:

How can you find out the Electrical Power of a Component? [Using pD and Current] Can Resistance be added for the Formula?

Autor: eric_galvao

Respuesta:

-This can be done from the Potential Difference across the Component [in Volts], along with the Current passing it [in Amps] The formula is Below -Power [W] = Potential Difference [V] x Current [A or I] -Since you know Ohms Law {Potential Difference [V] = Current [A or I] x Resistance [Ω]} that means we have another way of getting Power. Formula is Below -Power [W] = Current² [A or I]² x Resistance [Ω] or -Power [W] = Potential Difference² [W]² ......................---------------------------------- ......................Resistance [Ω]
