Give an example of active transport in plant cells

In plant cells active transport is used to move the ion magnesium, by root hair cells that transport magnesium from the soil to the leaves to make chlorophyll in the leaves. As the concentration of ions in the soil is lower than the contraction of ions inside the root hair cell, active transport is used to move the ions into the cell.
