What is the peritoneum? | Serous membrane lining the cavity of the abdomen and covering the abdominal organs Surface 1.7 m² Divides organs into: Intraperitoneal organs: -Liver, spleen, stomach, superior part of the duodenum, jejunum, ileum, transverse colon, sigmoid colon and superior part of the rectum.
