Pathology lab such as main lab, transfusion lab are opened 24H except: | ESR / CRP Histology lab cytology lab molecular lab; are opened @ office hours (8-5pm) if more than 5pm - can sent through main lab. |
For integrated lab, we can send routine sample such as; | FBC, RP, Ca, Mg, Phosphate, BUSE, LFT, TFT |

Criteria for specimen rejection: | 1. leaking tube 2. wrong tube 3. specimen not labelled 4. incomplete form 5. speciment insufficient 6. specimen haemolysed (only can see after centrifuge it) 7. incorrect blood-anticoagulation ratio 8. pt's ID not properly written 9. name of test not written |
Results: 1. All critical/very abnormal results will be __________. 2. Results for routine test will be put @ ________. 3. Staff from different wards will take result at certain time. 4. If want faster results, can ______ to lab yourself. 5. Can view results @ _______ in main lab but cannot print it.
