C. Ethosuximide

Ethosuximide reduces propagation of abnormal electrical activity in the brain, most likely by inhibiting T-type calcium channels. It is effective in treating only primary generalized absence seizures. Use of ethosuximide is limited because of this very narrow spectrum of activity.
