What is the difference between maslows theory and Alderfer erg theory?

Maslow hiearchy of needs is a theory where some needs must be fulfilled to be able to meet other needs. It is five steps of the pyramid, while Alderfer erg theory have three needs( existence, relatedness and growth) that are needs we can accomplish or seek simultaneously.
