How is liver blood supply?

Venous drainage: The left, middle, and right hepatic veins drain into the inferior vena cava (IVC). The portal vein is formed by the confluence of the splenic and superior mesenteric veins at the level of the second lumbar vertebra behind the head of the pancreas, 6-9 cm to the hilum 3 major hepatic veins: left, right, and middle.
