How is donor selection and assessment?

We look first for HLA-identical sibling, then 10/10 unrelated donor [look at donor age, CMV matching and ABO matching], then at 9/10 unrelated donor [cord blood, HLA-mismatched...] Assessment (CBC, complete biochem, BG, viral serology, pregnancy test, CXR, ECG, psych evaluation)
