3 steps for trituration technique

1) REDUCE THE DRUG to a moderately fine powder in a mortar. 2) Add about an EQUAL AMOUNT OF DILUENT and mix well by thorough trituration in mortar. 3) Successively ADD PORTIONS OF DILUENT, triturating after each addition, until entire quantity of diluent has been incorporated.
