How do vessels react with inflammation?

Vasodilation induced by mediators (histamine), it is the first manifestation of inflammation (may be preceded by vasoconstriction. Starts with arterioles and moves to capillaries leading to increased blood flow to site of inflammation (causing erythema and chalour) It is followed by increased permeability of vessels outpouring exudate. Slower blood flow and increased viscosity occurs. Resulting in stasis of blood flow and seen as vascular congestion with localized redness causing neutrophils to accumulate.
