• Comfort is a critical factor – for both the patient and the therapist. Be cognizant of background noise, light, room temperature, music; choice, odors and overall privacy. • Position will be dictated by various factors, especially the part of the body receiving the massage • Drape and cover the part of the body not being treated at that particular moment and expose the body part being treated.
