Gewürtztraminer

Grape: Gewürtztraminer DOC/G(s): Alto Adige: Alto Adige/Südtirol DOC Characteristics: Produces intensely perfumed wines that show characteristic aromas of rose petals, lychees, spice and tropical fruit. Alto Adige versions have the typical high alcohol levels and rich texture but tend to be fresher, less heavy and less opulent than those produced elsewhere.
