What is structualism?

Distinguishes between: Sensations - elementary processes occurring in response to stimulation. Perceptions - conscious awareness of objects and scenes. Proposed that sensations combine(/sum) to form perceptions. Therefore perceptions contain nothing that was not already present in these elementary sensations.
