Explain Transcription

Its purpose is to make a RNA copy of the DNA to send to the ribosomes to synthesize ribosomes. RNA polymerase separates the DNA strands to use one as a template (antisense). It adds nucleotides to the RNA strand that will match the DNA. RNA strand is released and DNA recoils.
