Pregunta:
How does PVL toxin cause resistance for staph aureus.
Autor: H KRespuesta:
PVL toxin will bind on the PMNs (Polymorphonuclear cells) and on the epithelial cells, which will cause a dysfunction in the mitochondria of those eukaryotic cells. Once the PVL toxin penetrates the mitochondria, it will induce a series of chemical reactions that will eventually lead to cell necrosis (not apoptosis). Proinflammatory cytokines will be released following the necrosis of the cell.
