- More sensitive - 2 g of fresh stool is placed in the center of the agar plate - Plates are sealed with tape to prevent accidental infection and placed in RT for 2 days - In positive cases, larvae will crawl over the agar, making visible tracks over it. - Examine microscopically for the evidence of larvae at the ends of tracks away from the stool
