It is a particular architecture that comes from South America. this vernacular and indigenous architecture is mostly about ritual, cosmology, religion, sacrifice, power, and monumentality -included civilisations such as the Maya, Inca, Aztec.. who crated temples, pyramids, and organised cities -pyramids in America are usually stepped rather than flat-sided, and were not used as tombs but rather as symbols of wealth and capabilities.
