-And each Element will make its own Specific Pattern of Lines that it Absorbs in the Visible Part of the Spectrum
-Light from other Galaxies have the Same Pattern, but at Lower Frequencies. This is called Red-Shift as the Lines are moving Towards the Red End of the Spectrum
-And Red Shift Measurements tells us that All the Distant Galaxies are moving AWAY from us Rapidly. Further Galaxies = Greater Red Shift.
-So Further away Galaxies are moving Faster from the Nearest Ones, giving Evidence that the Universe is Expanding |
| What exactly is the CMBR? Where did it even Come From? | -CMBR --> Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation.
-This is simply Microwave Radiation coming from Anywhere and is Everywhere in the Universe. [Remember - Background Radiation?]
-This all Began because of the Big Bang - and as the Universe Expanded - the Background Radiation had 'cooled' and dropped its Frequency. |
| So how did the Universe even Start? | -If the Galaxies had to be Moving away from Each Other at Speed, then Something had to have Happened for them to do such a Thing
